Proliner high elastic modulus hose successfully applied in Xi'an drainage pipeline repair

This project is located on the Fengcheng Fifth Road Mingguang Road Wenjing Road section in Weiyang District, Xi'an. The pipeline is a concrete pipeline with a burial depth of 4 meters and a diameter of DN1300.
The construction area of Fengcheng Fifth Road is located at the intersection of a bustling commercial and residential area, with a high volume of vehicle traffic and drainage throughout the year. The pipeline has been subjected to long-term external environmental influences, resulting in uneven settlement, damage, corrosion, and other issues within the pipeline.
The overall requirements of the project include reducing the impact of construction on traffic flow, shortening the overall construction period, reducing noise pollution, and controlling environmental pollution.

The high elastic modulus DN1300 pipeline repair this time is the first time in China's UV cured hose repair project that the required elastic modulus is 20500MPa.

The application and repair of Prolan's ultra-high elastic modulus material has also accumulated a large amount of project data for the non excavation repair industry, further verifying the practical application effect of Proliner's hose material with an elastic modulus of up to 28000 MPa.

This has laid a solid foundation for the further development of higher quality and better industry for the curing and repair of UV hoses in the future.

Fix difficulties

1. Due to the unique geographical location of the project, it requires crossing rivers and multiple roads, which makes the project difficult and places extremely high demands on materials and construction;
2. The project is buried at a depth of 17 meters, and the design elastic modulus of UV-CIPP UV cured hose material must be higher than 20000 MPa;
3. The repair of DN2000 large diameter pipes is the first of its kind in China. Due to the heavy material of the lining hose of the large diameter pipes, it may cause material distortion when going into the well. If there is insufficient construction experience, it may lead to curing failure;
4. The repair of a DN2000 * 168m pipeline requires strict control over pressure holding and travel time, which is a severe test for UV curing lamps.
